Hip - Hop vs Politics

Do you ever recognized the power of knowledge. Not only knowledge but words. Yesterday I was blessed to hear Carlton A. Usher speak out on his new book "A Rhyme Is A Terrible Thing To Waste" and the effects of hip hop in our community. I was so delighted to hear him speak on his personal views and on the views of society. Hip - hop was born in the late 1970's and from his opinion ( as well as mine ) its here to stay. But in the past hip - hop has been blamed for the violence, slang, and derogatory statements and comments. Hip - hop was that new kid in class who was blamed for doing stuff just because he was new. Usher goes in depth about the good, bad, ugly, and unheard of about hip -hop. Join me as we support another artist.
